Common Misconception About Being Your Own Boss In The MLM Industry
In this post I'm going to share with you how to be an effective and respectful Upline.
Being an upline is also being a leader. And to those who are new or doens't have any experience yet on how to become a leader, you may simply start by assisting your downlines towards training and providing any updates about your company and your team.
You may also start educating your self with all the necessary tools and start sharing it with your downlines.
Malpractice
On my previous company, I' ve witnessed such malpractice of this concept.
A 001 give orders to his downlines in condoscending manner, showing no respect, and treat them as employees.
He literally do manhandled his downlines, shouting at them. At one point I did have a chat from one of the staff in the office even the CEO is asking the staff if that 001 is the owner of the company for he too witnessed the arroganceof this guy.
There's no doubt that after being with the company for almost a year, he doesnt have any group yet. He is just only generating income from his direct sales, and pirating the prospects of his downlines and crosslines.
On the other hand one of our crosslines, really do practiced the quality leadership. He consistently generates training and marketing materials for his group.
He mingles with his team making them feel that he is not a boss but a helpful friend. What he implying is treating his members as his own family. He even offer his training to some of us which is exclusively for his team only.
True Meaning Of Being Your Own Boss
Financial and time freedom is the ultimate gift of success an MLM yet has to provide.
However, it will really do fall on the quality of performance the Networker has to offer.
These are the things that I really do like in the practice of MLM.
If your downlines can transcend with you applying this, then congratulate yourself for you have created a Leader.

- You can work anytime you want.
- If you employed, you can do it during breaktime or after office hours
- If your a student, you can do it after study hours
- If your a plain housewife, you can do when you are already done with your housechores.
- This is the best part, if you are fultime, you can offer all of your time
- You do have the freedom to do your style of marketing, after all based on statistics that most Network Marketers that succeed have mastered the marketing that resonates with them
- Your team may transfer to other group
- Some may stop
- Some may join other company
- What if you have a leader under you, you've just wasted the most valuable tool in MLM -Leverage.
- Your dowlines and other people who have witnessed your way of handling team will not respect you.
- This is the worst part - You are putting your life into risk
- They are more on Inspiration and not on motivation.
- Their passion of doing the business is very contagious.
- Will guide you to know your own truth.
- Will assist you to know your own How.
- Will Only show you the way.
